Why did TisBest send us a check?

TisBest sent you a check because funds in a “Special Program” operated by TisBest Philanthropy were directed to you. We use the term “Special Program” to describe all programs we run other than our standard Charity Gift Card program.

Can we find out the name and contact information for the person who donated to us?

If the person directing the donation to you chose to identify themselves, it will be indicated in the check memo. If the check memo does not indicate the donor’s name, then unfortunately we are unable to share that information.

Can we find out more information about the “Special Program” we received money from?

We apologize, but that is confidential information we are unable to share.

Can we find out more information about TisBest Philanthropy?

Yes, and we would love to share. Our core program is the TisBest Charity Gift Card, which we operate through this website. The TisBest Charity Gift Card is a gift-giving solution that creates good in the world, rather than more stuff. With a TisBest Charity Gift Card, the gift giver makes a charitable donation, and the gift recipient chooses a nonprofit to receive the donation. In addition to our core Charity Gift Card program, we support donors in “Special Programs” from time to time, such as the one you received funds from.  “Special Programs” are defined by the donor and so can take on many forms, but typically are some version of a private label charity gift card.

Where do we send a receipt for this donation?

The donation is from TisBest Philanthropy, a Washington nonprofit corporation, EIN 20-8630809. You may email a receipt for this donation to DonationReceipts@tisbest.org. Please opt us out of all mailing lists.
